2020 Greater Moncton Holiday Gift Guide!

Welcome to our first Greater Moncton Holiday Gift Guide! This year, more than any other year, it's so important to support local businesses and what a better occasion than the holidays! Buying from a local business is the perfect way to get a unique gift that shows you care.

I was inspired to write this blog post a few weeks ago when talking to a friend about my own initiative to only buy gifts from local businesses this year. She informed me that she felt at a loss when trying to think up local businesses that had good gifts and being a busy mom she didn't have the extra time to look. Without judgement, I understood where she was coming from, holiday shopping is hard enough, let alone with added pressure to shop only locally.

So my inner Mrs. Claus was inspired, I wanted to take all the guessing out of the equation, below I'll be listing off my favorite gift ideas all from local businesses. The businesses are not listed in any specific order. You'll find included with each gift, the price point and information on how to purchase.

1. Sequoia Dieppe & Downtown

I don't know about you but I can't think of local without thinking of Sequoia! They are an integral part of our community and show this time and time again through their dedication to helping their clients and support of other local businesses. They've made holiday shopping really easy for you this year with a beautiful pre-made bundle.

2. Eclair Lips

Are you a really true winter warrior without the right lip balm? I'm not gonna lie I used to be a Burt's Bee's addict, I had one hidden in every corner. After I tried Eclair Lips I said goodbye to old Burt! Eclair's formula is divine and always keeps my lips from chapping, not to mention their yummy flavors, my personal favorite is Vanilla Buttercream.

This holiday season give their new Holiday Drink collection a try! Trust me, you'll want to get one of these gifts for yourself and then buy them for your whole family.

4. Taylor Colpitts Acupuncture

I think Holiday gifts should be more than just items, give the gift of an experience! What could be better than feeling good AND looking good? Acupuncture can have the ability to work on internal issues so that your external body can reap the benefits as well! Did I mention that acupuncture and cupping are extremely relaxing? Both treatments have the ability to bring your body into a state of pure bliss, and who doesn’t love that? (especially this year).

A perfect stocking stuffer idea is a Guasha tool they are an amazing self-care item. The beautiful glow & plumpness they can generate and not to mention they can double as apart of a DIY at-home facial.

7. Koffee Beauty

If you're a regular follower of Lavish & Rose, it's no secret that I am a coffee junkie. So naturally the Koffee Beauty Scrub is one of my favorite staples. I personally love to use it to help in preventing ingrown hairs after shaving and to help with keeping my skin feeling extra smooth, especially during the dry winter months.

Although travelling isn't a go, you can pretend with a Coconut Coffee Scrub, it smells like a tropical paradise! Mixed with coconut essence, coffee grounds and natural oils it will reduce skin dullness, exfoliate your dead skin cells and minimize the look of stretch marks and scars. Enriched with antioxidants, after a quick rinse, your skin will be left soothed and toned with a sweet summer aroma. This scrub can be used on all skin types!
